Question Total amount of skills

Hiya

Does anyone know how many skill you are able to collect in PvE at the moment? So all Core skills, plus Prophecies skills, plus Factions skills, inlcuding the elite's, excluding Capture Signet and Res. Signet.

I counted a total of 784, anyone can confirm this?

Thanks.

There isn't a number here, but i thought it might be a good place to count them more easily.

And my primary character has only 55 more to go before she has collected them all. Some people think of the craziest things to do in Guild Wars .

those numbers look right....I counted out the monk and mesmer the other day and got the same numbers....she has about 110 to go.......my tyrian characters have gotten all the skills in their respective professions (except my mesmer who still has a few ranger caps to finish up).....my rit/e has all the factions ones, but still has the upper level ele ones in tyria to cap.....about 50 more skills to get there between caps and skills not being offered until after some missions...
Am NOT going to get my characters all skills in all professions, thats nuts (with 6 characters) and very expensive!
hats off to the 'nuts' out there

300 new skills.

In NF, add in the duplicates.

is it really 300 skills? Factions got 330... that's weird, I wonder how they'll distribute the skills between core classes and NF characters...

They should follow the general path, and give 75 each to NF characters... that'll leave 20 new skills for each of the other 6 professions...

If your new charcter is born in Tyria then many skills are free from doing quests. Wait until late in the game before buying skills and be selective when you do buy then since then are cheap at the begining and go up in price after each purchase maxing out at 1k each. If you start in Cantha you wil not get as many free skills. Once you reach the desert and change your secondary you can go back to the early areas and get some profession specific quests that will give you some more free skills.
